Rejuvenation of a 1990s family home
When R-A Director Mark Gribble designed his own Albany home in the 1990s, the plaster clad, Mediterranean inspired property was fresh, modern and perfect for family living. But, while the flowing internal and external rooms and the considered spatial arrangement of the original design have stood the test of time, Mark and his wife decided it was time to rejuvenate and update the home. In particular they wanted to replace the existing plaster cladding with more modern, durable materials in a restrained, calming palette of white and dark greys. The renovation also included some tweaks to the interior spaces, a new kitchen, outdoor louvred room and pool area to create a relaxed, open plan entertainment area.
